Model Portfolio Disclosure

Last updated: 30 March 2026

What this surface is

A Conviction Scout model portfolio is a synthetic, research-only ETF book generated from the public views we attribute to a named commentator or source entity. It is our interpretation of that commentator's thesis set, not the commentator's own published portfolio and not a recommendation from Conviction Scout.

What this surface is not

  • It is not personal financial advice.
  • It is not an instruction to buy, sell, or hold any ETF.
  • It is not approved, reviewed, or endorsed by the commentator.
  • It is not a brokerage, execution, copy-trading, or mirroring product.
  • It is not a performance leaderboard or backtest marketing surface.

How the synthetic book is built

Conviction Scout maps active theses for a source entity to eligible, non-leveraged, non-inverse ETFs, then constructs a current-state synthetic allocation from thesis confidence and ETF alignment scores. Risk and policy checks are applied, and any warnings are shown directly on the page.

This means the output reflects platform interpretation and deterministic validation rules, not a direct transcription of an analyst's real holdings.

Important limitations

  • Public source material may be incomplete, ambiguous, delayed, or wrong.
  • AI-assisted extraction, synthesis, and mapping may misread intent.
  • Eligible ETF mappings can be thin, provisional, or unavailable.
  • Current-state synthetic books do not imply suitability for your goals or risk tolerance.
  • Past hypothetical performance does not predict future results.

Insufficient signal states

Some entities will not have enough active mapped theses to support a publishable synthetic book. In those cases, Conviction Scout shows an honest readiness state instead of fabricating positions, history, or certainty.

No hidden execution authority

Model portfolios are interpretation surfaces only. They do not create orders, route trades, or authorise any automated portfolio change. Portfolio approval workflows elsewhere in the product are separate, advisory-only research tools and remain subject to their own disclosure and approval controls.
