Not Investment Advice — Service Boundary

Last updated: 22 March 2026

What Conviction Scout does

Conviction Scout is a market intelligence and research workspace. It aggregates and structures publicly available financial commentary from named sources, applying AI to extract structured theses, evidence chains, and opposing viewpoints.

The platform provides tools for:

  • Exploring structured market theses from public commentators
  • Viewing opposing arguments and counter-cases
  • Researching ETF instruments that relate to market themes
  • Building and comparing research scenarios and model portfolios
  • Tracking changes in commentator views over time

What Conviction Scout does not do

Conviction Scout does not:

  • Provide personal financial advice or personalised recommendations
  • Assess your financial situation, risk tolerance, or suitability
  • Recommend that you buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument
  • Execute trades or arrange dealing on your behalf
  • Provide copy-trading, mirroring, or automated execution
  • Act as a discretionary investment manager
  • Guarantee the accuracy of any thesis, confidence score, or ETF mapping

Platform interpretation vs source material

Content on Conviction Scout falls into distinct categories, clearly labelled throughout the platform:

  • Source material — attributed views from named commentators, extracted from their publicly available content
  • Platform interpretation — AI-generated structuring of source material into theses, confidence scores, and mappings
  • Community views — content contributed by platform users, subject to moderation
  • Scenario models — hypothetical portfolio constructions for research purposes, not instructions to trade

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for any investment decisions you make. You should always conduct your own research and consult a qualified, regulated financial adviser before making investment decisions. Conviction Scout is a tool to help you think — it is not a substitute for professional advice.
